When do cherry blossoms bloom in Gunma?
Sakurayama Park is home to about 7,000 fuyuzakura, a winter cherry variety that flowers in autumn. In November the small pale blossoms appear next to bright red maple leaves.
It is one of the few ways to see sakura outside spring, about 1.5 hours from Tokyo by car.
