Chureito pagoda

The five storied pagoda above Fujiyoshida is the classic shot. Trees here usually bloom in early to mid April, a week or so after Tokyo. Arrive at sunrise for clear skies and fewer people.

Lake Kawaguchiko

The northern shore around Ubuyagasaki and the Kawaguchiko cherry blossom festival offer trees, water and Fuji in one frame, usually in mid April.
